🥚 A neat trick to instantly switch between Google Search, ChatGPT, or Perplexity in your browser - (Search Hotkeys!)

Hi all! Me again with another shortcut I learned today 🙂

What are Search Hotkeys?

Let’s say I want to know the top 10 places to visit in korea:

• without search hotkeys:

• with search hotkeys:

What just happened?

Basically I set up hotkeys for the chrome search bar to use my engine of choice based on what I need at that moment:

• C will use ChatGPT

• P will use Perplexity

• B will use Bing Copilot

• (and searching normally will use Google)

How do you do that?

In chrome settings, search “manage search engines” > then “add site search”

You set it up like below screenshot, then for the URL just copy these in:

• ChatGPT - "https://chat.openai.com/chat?q=%s"

• Perplexity - "https://www.perplexity.ai/search?q=%s"

• Bing CoPilot - "https://www.bing.com/chat?sendquery=1&q=%s"

And that’s it! It’s quite a nice way to make working with multiple tools easier - so just thought to share. I’m thinking to share more bitesized tips on how we can all make AI work for us (instead of replacing us 😉)
